Why I didn’t make it to the gym today

Last night my wife took my daughter to the doctor for what she thought to be pinkeye. I didn’t think much of it as I had it a lot as a kid. I also knew it to be very contagious. As such I decided not to go to the gym this morning, for fear of spreading it.
But later in the morning, my daughter showed no signs of trouble. Then as my wife and I were talking she realized that my daughter had accidentally sprayed herself in the face with breath spray the previous day. Another doctor’s office co-pay and prescription down the drain.
